Communications

This committee seeks to communicate Hunter's activities, values, and vision within the congregation, and to the world outside.  We work to understand the needs and interests of our neighbors, and to share the work of the PC(USA) nationally and internationally.

 

Duties of the Communications Committee include the following:

  1. Nurture communications among church members, through listservs, church directory, and other useful communication platforms.

  2. Prepare and distribute information about Hunter.

  3. Publicize programs.

  4. Nurture an active presence on social media through Facebook and other digital media.

  5. Oversee the design and content of the church website and monitor usage patterns and needs.

  6. Communicate news and information about the national and international Presbyterian Church (USA) to the congregation.
